What is Selective Dorsal Cryoablation (SDC)?
Selective Dorsal Cryoablation (SDC) is a cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatment designed to help men suffering from premature ejaculation (PE). Drawing on the broader medical applications of cryoablation — widely used in cardiology to treat abnormal heart rhythms and in oncology to target tumors by freezing cancerous tissue — SDC applies this principle with precision to the dorsal penile nerve (DPN), the main sensory nerve of the penis.
Unlike surgical procedures that may permanently sever or remove nerve tissue, SDC does not destroy the nerve.
